Rasa penasaran saya membuat kami berhenti dan memperhatikan dengan seksama apa yang terjadi.   Kelihatannya tidak terdapat yang salah  semua baik-baik saja.  Saya masih berkeyakinan bahwa dibalik itu semua ada yang tidak dilakukan dengan benar oleh  pelaksana/kontraktor PJU  atau bahkan pemasok barangnya.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Untuk itu bagi para user PJU LED harap memperhatikan karateristik dasar teknologi LED agar pada pemakaian dapat berfungsi dengan baik.   Adapun yang perlu diperhatikan adalah:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.  Jenis LED yang digunakan high power atau low power LED perlakuannya beda&lt;br /&gt;2.  Memperhitungkan dampak aircon Armatur atau rumah lampu yang digunakan &lt;br /&gt;3.  Waktu Operasional Lampu dalam sehari, sebulan, setahun dst.&lt;br /&gt;4. Betapa banyak manfaat yang diperoleh dari program ini singkatnya hanya dengan mengganti 59 titik lampu konvensional HPIT 250Watt dengan lampu LVD induction lamp maka nilai ekonomi yang diperoleh adalah penghematan daya mencapai 75% serta hemat biaya penggantian dan perawatan selama 45 kali penambahan investasi dapat dikembalikan dalam waktu tidak mencapai 1 tahun. Bagi lingkungan akan membantu emisi CO2 dari penghematan listrik sebanyak 29,9 ton dalam setahun atau setara dengan menghidupkan pohon-pohon besar sebanyak 1.497 pohon. Biasanya PJU kita  memakai jenis lampu mercury atau sodium atau SON dengan memakai daya 220 V dari PLN.  Dalam rangka konservasi energi nasional, serta memberikan pengajaran dan  pendidikan terhadap anak-anak kita  sudah saatnya kita menggunakan tenaga surya (matahari) untuk PJU. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;Untuk membuat pembangkit listrik tenaga surya sangatlah sederhana dan mudah dilaksanakan yaitu&lt;/span&gt;:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Pemilihan Jenis lampu yang cocok dengan arus DC dari tenaga matahari (berdaya kecil tetapi memiliki emisi dan lux cahaya  yang memadai untuk PJU.  Contoh LED (= Light Emitting Diode)dan ElF (=Electrode-less Fluorescent).  LED dan ElF dengan daya 24 -40 Watt memiliki emisi cahaya yang setara dengan 250 Watt lampu mercury.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Menghitung kebutuhan energi selama pengoperasian tenaga surya di malam hari:  semisal 40 watt LED atau ElF  40 watt x 12 jam = 480 WJ. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Kapasitas Modul Photovoltaic (panel surya):  Kebutuhan energi/durasi surya perhari = 480 WJ/12 jam = 60 WP ini kondisi ideal.  Dalam pelaksanaanya seringkali tidak optimal 12 jam secara penuh. Incandescent lamp hanya dapat mengkonversi energi 5% menjadi cahaya dari konsumsi input energi.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sekarang sudah ada terobosan baru dari jenis lampu sorot PAR 38. Jenis lampu PAR yang sebelumnya berdaya 100-120 Watt bisa digantikan dengan lampu PAR 38 berdaya 20 Watt saja. Lampu ini jauh lebih hemat karena konversi energi jauh lebih effisien, yaitu 80% energi intake menjadi cahaya. Pemakaian lampu sorot ini tentu saja akan sangat bermanfaat untuk memangkas biaya operational sistem pencahayaan. Khususnya untuk para pengelola gedung, taman dan kawasan komersial. Jenis PAR ini adalah hasil rekayasa twisted compact fluorescent yang diberi efek flood dalam sistem optik bola lampunya. Lampu Hemat Energi (=LHE) yang dimaksud hendaknya memenuhi beberapa standar diantaranya:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;LHE yang baik adalah lampu yang betul-betul hasil pengujian sehingga jumlah daya yang ditulis pada lampu sesuai dengan yang dipakai saat lampu tersebut dipakai.  Kita dapat menghitungnya dengan lat sederhana seperti ampermeter.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Tidak menimbulkan induksi dan noise (suara)   &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Umur lampu LHE yang digunakan cukup lama karena apabila dalam 3 bulan atau 6 bulan sudah mati tentunya bukan hemat juga.  Umur lampu kualitas yang baik adalah 3-4 tahun pemakain standar 12 jam per hari kurang lebih 20.000 jam.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Pakailah merek-merek yang dapat dipertanggung jawabkan mutu dan pelayanan purna jualnya.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Cahaya LHE yang baik memiliki konversi energi yang sangat baik, kurang lebih 5 kali lebih terang sehingga dengan watt yang kecil saja cukup. Tingkat penghematan daya 80% lebih hemat dibanding dengan lampu pijar biasa. Mulai dari atas bumi, aneka ragam sumber makanan berupa tanaman dan hewan tumbuh sangat subur,  dari perut bumi bermacam ragam bahan tambang minyak.   Sumberdaya air dan maritim tiada ternilai jumlahnya serta energi matahari yang setiap hari selalu hadir dengan setia.&lt;br /&gt;Ketergantungan energi pada salah satu jenis sumber energi pada akhirnya akan mengakibatkan semakin tinggi tingkat persaingan untuk mendapatkan energi tersebut.  Oleh karena itu sudah saatnya kita mulai menggunakan sumber-sumber energi alternatif sebagai pengganti.  Salah satu contoh adalah energi listrik.  Listrik kita masih disuplai oleh PLN dengan bahan bakar utamanya Minyak dan  Batu Bara.  Saat ini PLN kita mensupplai kebutuhan listrik kita muali kedododoran karena pertumbuhan permintaan tidak seimbangan dengan produksi listrik dari pembangkit yang ada. Artinya kekal disini tetap tidak akan hilang, kalupun hilang artinya berubah wujudnya saja.  Perubahan wujud energi seringkali kita tidak menyadarinya karena sulit untuk mengukurnya.  Yang harus dijaga oleh kita sebetulnya penggunaan energi tidak boleh dihambur-hamburkan apalagi dipakai untuk tindakan kejahatan.  Perubahan energi yang positif akan membawa kesejahteraan manusia, namun energi negatif akan menghancurkan dunia (kiamat).  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Kenapa energi  menjadi langka?  Sebenarnya jumlah energi tetap saja namun karena semakin banyak manusia yang menggunakannya maka menjadi &lt;span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;"&gt;rebutan, semakin langka dan mahal&lt;/span&gt;.  Ini konsekuensi yang wajar. Oleh karena itu mari kita pakai energi seperlunya jangan berlebihan.
